Gluten Free Resources #1


This morning I had my first ever gluten-free croissant and it was incredible.  I had it in the freezer and I thought 5 minutes in the oven would be enough to warm it up nice and crisply but it didn’t.  I think all up I had it in there for 20 minutes and I had to cut a slice through it so that I knew it was thawed all the way through.

It was delicious!  Absolutely lovely.  I didn’t think it was possible.  But the bakery I recently discovered, situated across the road from my clinic in Norwest had a whole range of goodies – banana cake, bagels, pies, breads and other gluten-free packaged products and I decided to buy a croissant for a Sunday treat.
