Thriving Through Midlife and Menopause

“There is no greater power in the world than the zest of a postmenopausal woman.”

Margaret Mead

As women, we will all go through menopause, yet few of us talk about it.

Menopausal women are now the fastest-growing demographic in the workforce. One in three of the working population will soon be over the age of 50. With both employment rates and the retirement age on the rise, women’s careers are lasting longer than ever before. But despite this, the impact of menopause on our working lives is largely undocumented and painstakingly under-reported in the wider world of work.

Studies have found that knowledge, a positive attitude, and management plans, may improve the quality of post-menopause life. This is why it’s time for us to change how we talk about ‘The Change’. (Source: Allbright)

I invite you to speak up and share your struggles with your female friends so we can get the conversation started.
